Erik Ramos Santos, born and raised in Malabon, Philippines, emerged as the grand champion of the ABS-CBN program Star In A Million in January 2004. He is the next big thing in Philippine music, as far as male singers are concerned, is touted either as the next Gary V. or Martin Nievera. Erik Santos, winner of the much-coveted and most prestigious singing contest in the country, has been called that, aside from being tagged "the rising star," his moniker in Star in a Million. Now, the country's Prince of Pop has proven that he is indeed all that and more.
